EDH Tiering

Don't you love it when you build your latest EDH creation, and bring it to your playgroup all excited, only to see it smashed down when everyone else just breaks out their best deck for its first session?

Does your playgroup do Tiering?  Working out which decks play nicely together and which ones are almost cEDH decks?

We've been keeping track of winners so that we can work out our Tier groups.  Currently I think it feels a bit like this but we still need a bunch more games to work out which results are luck vs real strong wins, and also which wins are against other strong decks.

Here is Tasigur list that I play in our videos. The deck is designed to ramp out as quickly as possible and play huge X spells to close out the game. With lots of interaction and some big haymakers the deck is really fun to play.

Did some quick analysis of our play since this series began and the commander of the series so far is Alela with a perfect 3 from 3 record!

Our group play EDH over Zoom.  In this back and forth battle we see several strong boardstates from 3 of the players before one utterly dominates and wins, even after a late fightback!

Episode 8 - Golos, Narset, Korvold, Alesha

One of our quickest matches of EDH yet - lets see who wins when Golos, Narset, Korvold, & Alesha clash in a late night end of session quick commander battle.

Episode 7 - "Niv-Mizzet, Parun", "Daretti, Scrap Savant", Roon, and "Ishai & Reyhan"

First use of the Partner Commander mechanic on this series. Lets see how this pans out, with another fun fight with a battle with no top tier challengers.
